MCCF Scholarships


Applications for the majority of MCC’s scholarships are available online annually from January through March for the coming academic year. Applications for selected other scholarships are accepted throughout the academic year. 

MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarships (Ash 1 for 2 Scholarships)

Applications for 2018 fall semester MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarships are available. For every two contact hours purchased, MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarship recipients receive one free at the in-district rate up to a value of $600. The scholarships are available to students who are residents of the Belding, Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri-County or Vestaburg public school districts. Scholarships are not available to students who receive other gift aid or grants covering, or whose employers pay, 60% of more of their semester bills. 

 

Students will need a printout of their NETPARTNER Financial Aid award screen to apply. Notifications are sent to students’ e-mail addresses when their Financial Aid file has been processed.

The MCC Board of Trustees Scholarships
for current-year high school, alternative high school or adult education graduates who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

 

The MCCF Allen E. & Janet A. Kohn Scholarships
for new, current or returning MCC students.

 

The MCCF Anna Hertz-McCoy Memorial Scholarships
for new, current or returning MCC students. Preference may be given to students enrolling in a foreign language course or MCC’s study abroad program.

 

The MCCF Ardene (Diz) Oswald Memorial Scholarships
for students pursuing an occupational program who demonstrate good citizenship and hold a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Ash Education Fund Scholarships
for new or returning MCC students who reside in the Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County, Vestaburg or Belding public schools district.

for new or returning MCC students who reside in the Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County, Vestaburg or Belding public schools district.

 

The MCCF Beatrice & Manfred Doser Memorial Scholarships
One Doser scholarship is for students demonstrating academic achievement who are planning to major in chemistry or engineering. The second is for students demonstrating academic achievement and exhibiting exceptional leadership to MCC and/or the community through volunteerism.

 

The MCCF Beth Anderson Memorial Current or Returning Student Scholarships
for current or returning MCC students who complete at least 6 MCC credit hours and demonstrate community or college service and academic achievement.

The MCCF Beth Anderson Memorial New Student Scholarships
for new MCC students who demonstrate academic achievement and community service.

 

The MCCF Camille Widdifield Memorial Scholarships
for current or returning students who graduated from Greenville High School, hold a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate good citizenship.

 

The MCCF Career Center Scholarships
for current-year high school seniors taking career center classes planning on attending MCC in the upcoming fall semester.

 

The MCCF Clifford J. Bedore Scholarships
for MCC students residing in the MCC district.

 

The MCCF Copp Family Scholarships
for residents of the Carson City-Crystal Area Schools who have completed at least one credit course at MCC and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Priority is given to foster children, parents or children residing in single-parent households, veterans or people serving in the Michigan National Guard.

 

The MCCF Donald C. Burns Presidential Scholarships
for students who are at least 25 years of age, have completed at least 6 credits in a degree program and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Don & Emma Goodell Scholarships
for MCC students. Preference may be given to Belding High School graduates.

 

The MCCF Doris M. Arntz Scholarships
for students who are pursuing an MCC occupational program.

 

The MCCF Dr. Gordon DeVries/Dr. Thomas Deurloo Scholarships
for students who have completed at least 6 credit hours and are pursuing a nursing degree.

 

The MCCF Duane W. & Georgia A. Bohne Scholarships
for residents of the Montabella Community Schools district who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Edward Reddig Scholarships
for current-year Greenville High School graduates enrolled in a business program.

 

The MCCF Erin Kae Kitchenmaster Scholarships
for full-time, single-parent students pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing with a minimum cumulative 2.5 MCC GPA.

 

The MCCF Grace Anne Hatto-Adler Memorial Scholarships
for current MCC students pursuing a degree in health care. Preference may be given to students who have experienced the death of a child or sibling.

 

The MCCF Grace M. Sagendorf Scholarships
for students who have demonstrated good citizenship and completed 15 credits with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Harold & Ruth Force Family Scholarships
for single-parent students who have completed at least one MCC credit with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Herbert N. Stoutenburg Scholarships
for current-year graduates of an in-district high school who hold a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and are pursuing a mathematics or science major.

 

The MCCF Judy K. DeVolder Nutt Scholarships
for students who have completed at least 6 credit hours and are pursuing a nursing degree.

 

The MCCF Kenneth & Jacalyn Smith Scholarships
for MCC students.

 

The MCCF Kenneth J. & Gail E. Lehman Scholarships
for students pursuing a career in biology who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate good citizenship.

The MCCF Kenric Jones DeLong Service Scholarship: Kenny’s Community Cash
for current MCC students who complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service and hold a minimum 3.25 GPA.

 

The MCCF Kevin Carbonelli Memorial Scholarships
for residents of the Greenville Public Schools district who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and are enrolled in at least 6 MCC credits.

 

The MCCF Louise D. Buescher Scholarships
for MCC students enrolled in at least 6 credits.

 

The MCCF MCC-Education Support Personnel Association Scholarships
for full-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program who have completed at least 12 credits with a 2.5 minimum GPA.

 

The MCCF MCC Employee Endowed Scholarships
for students enrolled in at least 6 credits.

 

The MCCF Mildred Farmer-Angwin Scholarships
for graduates of Greenville High School who are pursuing a nursing degree.

 

The MCCF Mr. & Mrs. John Hathaway Scholarships
for Tri-County High School graduates who hold a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Nancy Fox Scholarships
for single-parent students enrolled in a degree program who take at least one art class.

 

The MCCF Nancy Steele Allen Edwards Memorial Nursing Scholarships
for first -year associate degree nursing students with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship is renewable for a second year if the recipient continues to meet scholarship criteria and requirements to progress in the ADN program.

 

The MCCF Robert E. Campbell Memorial Scholarships
for MCC students enrolled in a business-related course or program.

 

The MCCF Ruth Paddock Bedore Transfer Awards 
for students who reside in the MCC district who have completed an MCC associate’s degree with a minimum B average and have been accepted by and enrolled in an accredited four-year college.

 

The MCCF Stafford Family Scholarships
for in-district MCC students.

 

The MCCF Stanley & Blanche Ash Scholarships
for in-district high-school current-year graduates who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

 

The MCCF Travis L. Bingaman Memorial Scholarships
for current-year Central Montcalm High School graduates who have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF William & Harriette Cook Scholarships
for new MCC students who enroll in 6 or more MCC credits.
