Montcalm Community College responds to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)


MCC has reopened its Sidney and Greenville campuses on a limited basis. 

Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed Fridays. Online support is available on Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through Live Chat, which is accessible on MCC’s website at or you can contact us by emailing or calling 989-328-1277.


Only visitors needing to conduct official college business will be allowed in our buildings. We ask that you check in with the building attendant and that you wear a mask while in the building. We will provide a mask if you do not have one. Summer classes are online, and all student support services will continue online during summer session.



CARES Act: Higher Education Relief Fund 


On April 20, 2020, Montcalm Community College (MCC) signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). On May 29, 2020, MCC received its student portion of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).

Recreation facilities are closed

The college’s recreation facilities, including its pool, gym, fitness center, as well as its food service provider, the Woodside Café, are closed until further notice.


Cancellation of events

All MCC-sponsored events have been canceled or postponed until further notice. Visit for details.


Library operations 

The MCC Library is open on a limited basis. Study rooms, computers, tables and library material will be available. However, social gatherings are not allowed due to COVID-19 safety precautions. To access the library, please enter the main doors of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building and complete the check-in process, which includes filling out a health screening form. If you do not have a mask to wear while in the building, one will be provided for you. Library hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Fridays from June 15 through July 23. We also are available through LiveChat at, by emailing or by calling (989) 328-1261.
