Michigan Road Canvas Painting Party
Room G129 in the Stanley and Blanche Ash Building
Local artist Susan Moss will guide you step by step to create a Michigan Road painting on canvas. 'Michigan Road' is Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 in Room G129 in the Stanley and Blanche Ash Technology and Learning Center (Ash TLC) on the college's Greenville campus.
Proceeds from this event will be used for the installation of a bike rack near the Robert E. Marston Pavilion along the Lena Meijer Heartland Trail Connector on MCC's Sidney campus. Alpha Tau Alpha, MCC's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, is completing the project in memorium Mike Seaman, former MCC Social Science Instructor who passed away after injuries sustained in a bicycling accident in 2017. Any funds in excess of project costs will be donated to the MCCF Michael J. Seaman Memorial Scholarship to help provide assistance to students in financial need.
Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased online through Sept. 22 by visiting www.michigan-road.eventbrite.com. All necessary materials will be provided. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages permitted. For more information or questions, please contact PTK Advisor Rogena Brinks by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call (989)328-1038.
