This certificate program prepares students to handle bookkeeping, determine prices, deal with customers, employ some computer applications, and assist in new business development. Students interested in earning an associate degree are encouraged to consult an MCC counselor or academic advisor.

The Certificate of Entrepreneurship offers students several entry-level job opportunities in a variety of fields including the Internet and IT, personal services, media, engineering and small businesses. This certificate will prepare students to own and manage their own business by teaching a number of skills from communications to bookkeeping. There is also opportunity for continued study at the associate degree level gaining a career as a New Accounts Clerk earning $29,500 to $48,500 per year.
