Recreation

Recreational activities bring people together and provide opportunities for social interaction, volunteering, inclusion and diversity, which all contribute to building stronger and more connected communities and enhance education. MCC offers a variety of recreational opportunities on its Sidney campus.

PoolThere are programs for everyone – infants through senior citizens – in MCC’s NCAA-sized indoor pool. The pool is available for a variety of uses including open swim, lap swim, water walking and water aerobics, and “Learn to Swim” classes are available through the college’s Career and Personal Development offerings. In addition, users may rent the facility for personal pool parties.

Water aerobics will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 to 9 a.m., but there will not be an instructor. The Tuesday and Thursday water aerobics class is from 9 to 10 a.m. and an instructor will be present.
