MCCAA Academic Honors for 2023-24

 

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) has revealed the recipients of the MCCAA Academic All-Conference honors, Academic All-MCCAA honors, and MCCAA academic team honors for the 2023-24 academic year across all sporting disciplines. A total of 1,082 student-athletes within the MCCAA have been recognized with Academic All-Conference honors, while 900 student-athletes have achieved academic All-MCCAA honors. Furthermore, a commendable 78 athletic teams have been acknowledged with MCCAA academic team recognition, having collectively maintained a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

The established criteria states that the student-athletes must be officially listed on the roster and have successfully completed a minimum of 24 semester hours. Student-athletes who have graduated mid-year or required less than 24 credits for graduation also qualify for the awards. The MCCAA Academic All-Conference distinctions are awarded to student-athletes who have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2023-2024 academic year. Recipients of the All-MCCAA honors have attained a GPA of 3.2 or above. In addition, the MCCAA All-Academic Teams consist of athletic teams that collectively maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
