Are you experiencing personal or academic concerns that you need assistance navigating (homelessness, lack of food, mental health, etc.)? Do you need help connecting to MCC resources such as tutoring, testing, accommodations, etc.?  Please fill out the form linked above and we will follow up with you.

Please know that this form will be reviewed by a member of the Student Success Center and referred to the Counselors as needed.

Student Emergency Assistance Fund

MCC's Student Emergency Assistance Fund was established by the MCC Foundation (MCCF) to help students at risk of not continuing their education due to unexpected financial difficulty. Click the link above to learn more and apply. 

Academic Tutoring 

Free academic tutoring is available, either in-person or virtually, to all registered MCC students. Online academic coaching through NetTutor® provides live academic coaching in many subjects and is accessible through your Canvas course.

Career Services

MCC’s Career Services offers a variety of resources to help students select a field of study and prepare for a career. In addition to scheduling a career advising session, you can utilize our online career exploration links, personality assessments, and job boards.

CIS Lab 

MCC’s CIS Lab offers computers for student and community use, featuring state-of-the-art technology and printing services on a pay-per-page basis. Help is available from our lab assistants. In addition, students may visit the CIS Lab for test proctoring for PearsonVue, HESI, NOCTI, and instructor make-up tests.

Counseling and Advising

MCC’s academic counselors and advisors can help you navigate your college experience, learn about degree program requirements, and transfer options. 
MCC’s counselors offer brief personal counseling to help with immediate concerns. Referrals will be made when appropriate. Any and all personal counseling is offered by Licensed Professional Counselors.

The Food Source provides current MCC students with nutritious food items while classes are in session. Students may request food through the MCC Food Source form.

MCC’s Writing Center provides students with free one-on-one assistance with writing assignments from any MCC course. The center features friendly, helpful, competent consultants; useful handouts and reference books; and computers for consultation and composition.

Montcalm RISC (Recovery & Integrated Services of Care)

Montcalm RISC offers support groups and recovery meetings across Montcalm County for alcohol and drug addiction. If you or someone you know is needing assistance, please view this brochure for meeting dates, locations and times.

If you are homeless or need housing assistance the Housing and Homeless Hotline is a great place to start. EightCAP provides both housing and homeless assistance to those in need along with a variety referral and resource opportunities.
