MCC Chemistry Faculty, Sara Rittersdorf, will demonstrate that you can preserve a variety of foods at any time of year, including meats, vegetables, and fruits through the art of canning. She will explain the differences between water bath canning and pressure canning techniques. This presentation is on Wednesday, September 24, from 12:05 to 12:45 p.m. in the MCC Library.
