Youths entering 6th through 8th grade

Camp Director is Annie Cummings. The cost is $59. A signed waiver form is required for all camps. Campers should bring a sack lunch.

Campers will work as physicists and engineers, carrying out experiments to investigate phenomena, principles, and concepts involved in physical science and technology using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®EV3. Working in pairs, they’ll go through a series of lessons that use hands-on experiments to explore gear ratios, friction, and gravity. The unit concludes with an open-ended challenge, which provides an opportunity for students to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge in creative ways.

The camp takes place July 24-25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
