Events

MCC will celebrate Veterans Day on Monday, November 10, from 12 to 1 p.m. The live event is in room G129 in the Stanley P. Ash Technology and Learning Center on MCC’s Greenville campus and will be livestreamed in room D305 in the Beatrice E. Doser Building on MCC’s Sidney campus.  

The program will honor veterans at MCC and in the community, and will include a lunchtime presentation from Army Veteran Parker VanDeVenter. Parker is the Community Outreach Liaison for Sanford Behavioral Health and will be talking about the recent opening of J.O.H.N. (Just One Hero Needed), a residential treatment facility located in Grand Rapids, MI for Veterans and First Responders.  

Admission is free on both campuses and lunch is provided. Veterans, community members and MCC students and staff are invited to attend. RSVP is recommended, but not required.
