Zach Johnson named MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the Week
Zach Johnson, a freshman from Holt, was named the MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the Week for the week of September 18-24.
"I'm honored to be named the MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the week! It feels good to see all the hard work and dedication I've put into my game pay off," Johnson said.
Johnson was named a medalist at the Oakland Community College Invitational where he shot a 75 on Monday, Sept. 18. On Friday, Sept. 22 Johnson shot a personal best, 71 at the Kirtland Invitational where he finished 2nd place for a 73 average on the week. Johnson has finished 1st or 2nd place in all four invitationals that he has competed in so far for the Centurions.
