MCCF Scholarships


Applications for the majority of MCC’s scholarships are available online annually from January 1 through April 30 for the coming academic year. Applications for selected other scholarships are accepted throughout the academic year.

 

Ash 2+1 Scholarship - Fall 2020

 

Ash 2+1 Scholarship applications become available for MCC’s fall 2020 semester on July 1.

Under the program, for every two contact hours purchased, scholarship recipients receive one free hour at the in-district rate, up to a $600 value. The scholarship is available to students who are residents of the Belding, Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County or Vestaburg public school districts. This scholarship is not available to students who receive other gift aid or grants covering, or whose employers pay, 60 percent or more of their semester bills. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit www.montcalm.edu/scholarships for information and to complete the new electronic form. You must still have your financial aid file completed and be enrolled in fall classes, but the documents are no longer required to be attached.

for new, current or returning MCC students.

The MCCF Anna Hertz-McCoy Memorial Scholarship
for new, current or returning MCC students. Preference may be given to students enrolling in a foreign language course or MCC’s study abroad program.

 

The MCCF Ardene (Diz) Oswald Memorial Scholarship
for students pursuing an occupational program who demonstrate good citizenship and hold a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Ash Education Fund Scholarship
for new or returning MCC students who reside in the Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County, Vestaburg or Belding public schools district.

 

The MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarship
for new or returning MCC students who reside in the Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County, Vestaburg or Belding public schools district.

 

The MCCF Beatrice & Manfred Doser Memorial Scholarship
One Doser scholarship is for students demonstrating academic achievement who are planning to major in chemistry or engineering. The second is for students demonstrating academic achievement and exhibiting exceptional leadership to MCC and/or the community through volunteerism.

 

The MCCF Beth Anderson Memorial Current or Returning Student Scholarship
for current or returning MCC students who complete at least 6 MCC credit hours and demonstrate community or college service and academic achievement.

 

The MCCF Beth Anderson Memorial New Student Scholarship
for new MCC students who demonstrate academic achievement and community service.

 

The MCCF Camille Widdifield Memorial Scholarship
for current or returning students who graduated from Greenville High School, hold a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate good citizenship.

 

The MCCF Career Center Scholarship
for current-year high school seniors taking career center classes planning on attending MCC in the upcoming fall semester.

 

The MCCF Clifford J. Bedore, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
for MCC students residing in the MCC district.

 

The MCCF Copp Family Scholarship
for residents of the Carson City-Crystal Area Schools who have completed at least one credit course at MCC and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Priority is given to foster children, parents or children residing in single-parent households, veterans or people serving in the Michigan National Guard.

 

The MCCF Don & Emma Goodell Scholarship
for MCC students. Preference may be given to Belding High School graduates.

 

The MCCF Donald C. Burns Presidential Scholarship
for students who are at least 25 years of age, have completed at least 6 credits in a degree program and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Doris M. Arntz Scholarship
for students who are pursuing an MCC occupational program.

The MCCF Dr. Gordon DeVries/Dr. Thomas Deurloo Scholarship
for students who have completed at least 6 credit hours and are pursuing a nursing degree.

 

The MCCF Duane W. & Georgia A. Bohne Scholarship
for residents of the Montabella Community Schools district who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Edward Reddig Scholarship
for current-year Greenville High School graduates enrolled in a business program.

 

The MCCF Erika A. Walters Scholarship

The MCCF Erin Kae Kitchenmaster Scholarship
for full-time, single-parent students pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing with a minimum cumulative 2.5 MCC GPA.

 

The MCCF Family of Michelle Mater Gibson Agricultural Scholarship for students participating in the MCC/MSU IAT agricultural operations program and has completed 1 MCC or MSU agricultural class.

 

The MCCF George & Janet Ravell Family Scholarship for a student residing in the MCC district, who hold a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be pursuing a nursing or manufacturing degree. Preference will be given to a Tri County High School student. 

 

The MCCF Grace Anne Hatto-Adler Memorial Scholarship
for current MCC students pursuing a degree in health care. Preference may be given to students who have experienced the death of a child or sibling.

 

The MCCF Grace M. Sagendorf Scholarship
for students who have demonstrated good citizenship and completed 15 credits with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Harold & Ruth Force Family Scholarship
for single-parent students who have completed at least one MCC credit with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Herbert N. Stoutenburg Scholarship
for current-year graduates of an in-district high school who hold a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and are pursuing a mathematics or science major.

 

The MCCF Jan and Mike McCrackin Family/Harvey Milling Agriculture Scholarship for new or returning students with a high school or college GPA of 2.5 who are pursuing an agriculture related career.

 

The MCCF Jan and Mike McCrackin Family/Irma McCrackin Memorial Nursing Scholarship for a nursing student who has a 3.0 college GPA.

for students who have completed at least 6 credit hours and are pursuing a nursing degree.

for residents of the Greenville Public Schools district who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and are enrolled in at least 6 MCC credits.

for MCC students enrolled in at least 6 credits.

 

The MCCF Maureen Burns Scholarship for a Greenville High School graduate. Preference may be given to a student that is beginning their college career 2 or more years after high school.

 

The MCCF MCC-Education Support Personnel Association Scholarship
for full-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program who have completed at least 12 credits with a 2.5 minimum GPA.

 

The MCCF MCC Employee Endowed Scholarship
for students enrolled in at least 6 credits.

 

The MCCF Merrill & Barbara Johnson Scholarship

for new, current or returning MCC students.

 

The MCCF Michael J. Seaman Memorial Scholarship
for new, current or returning MCC students. Preference may be given to someone who has demonstrated leadership experience.

 

The MCCF Mildred Farmer-Angwin Scholarship
for graduates of Greenville High School who are pursuing a nursing degree.

 

The MCCF Montcalm Democrats for Community Scholarship for a high school senior or current MCC student with demonstrated community service or involvement in public service. Preference given based on a submitted application essay/response discussing a current societal issue or proposing solutions for improving political discourse.

 

The MCCF Mr. & Mrs. John Hathaway Scholarship
for Tri-County High School graduates who hold a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF Nancy Fox Scholarship
for single-parent students enrolled in a degree program who take at least one art class.

 

The MCCF Nancy Steele Allen Edwards Memorial Nursing Scholarship
for first -year associate degree nursing students with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship is renewable for a second year if the recipient continues to meet scholarship criteria and requirements to progress in the ADN program.

 

The MCCF Robert E. Campbell Memorial Scholarship
for MCC students enrolled in a business-related course or program.

 

The MCCF Ruth Paddock Bedore Transfer Award
for students who reside in the MCC district who have completed an MCC associate’s degree with a minimum B average and have been accepted by and enrolled in an accredited four-year college.

 

The MCCF Stafford Family Scholarship
for in-district MCC students.

 

The MCCF Stanley & Blanche Ash Scholarship
for in-district high-school current-year graduates who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

 

The MCCF Travis L. Bingaman Memorial Scholarship
for current-year Central Montcalm High School graduates who have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

The MCCF William & Harriette Cook Scholarship
for new MCC students who enroll in 6 or more MCC credits.
