MCCF Scholarships

 

Thank you for your interest in scholarships! The MCC Foundation has more than $400,000 in student aid available for the 2023-2024 academic year.

 

MCCF Montcalm Excellence Award Scholarship

 

MCCF endowed scholarships are packaged and awarded as MCCF Montcalm Excellence Awards to students based on the scholarship criteria. Scholarship applications are accepted year-round for the MCCF Montcalm Excellence Award Scholarships, with awards made two times a year. Apply early for priority consideration. Awards will be applied to charges beginning Fall semester 2024. Maximum award is $1,100 for full time enrollment and may be renewed. Students eligible for renewal will be contacted and should reapply. Students are asked to complete their FAFSA by March 15 to be considered for priority awarding. The Spring priority application deadline is March 31, 2024.

MCCF Summer 2024 Session Scholarship

 

The MCC Foundation is offering a scholarship to help students who continue their education at MCC during the 2024 summer session. The funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will want to apply soon! Funds used for this scholarship require that you live within the MCC service district (be in-district) or the Belding school district. If you are not sure, please call 989-328-1277 to verify. Award amounts will be based on the number of contact hours for which a student is registered and include: 3 to 5 contact hours – up to $350; 6-8 contact hours – up to $700; 9+ contact hours - up to $1,000.

MCCF "MCC Made Me" Scholarship

 

The MCCF MCC “Made Me Scholarship” is for a new or returning student pursuing a career in industrial trades (preference of tool and die) or nursing with demonstrated financial need. Eligibility and instructions are provided on the application. Applications are due by March 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

MCCF Michael J. Seaman Memorial Scholarship

 

The MCCF Michael J. Seaman Memorial Scholarship is for new, current, or returning MCC students. Preference may be given to someone who has demonstrated leadership experience. Eligibility and instructions are provided on the application. Applications are due by March 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

MCCF Montcalm Democrats for Community Scholarship

 

The MCCF Montcalm Democrats for Community Scholarship is for a high school senior or current MCC student who has demonstrated community service or involvement in public service. Eligibility and instructions are provided on the application. Applications are due by March 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

MACC Summer Scholarship

 

The Montcalm Area Career Center Summer Scholarship is available to MACC students who are residents of Belding, Carson City, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri – County, or Vestaburg public school districts and are interested in taking summer classes at MCC. Dual Enrollment Scholarships

The MCCF Dual Enrollment Books Scholarship Fund awards scholarships for required course books and materials beyond the state’s per-student dual-enrollment allowance for any MCC dual-enrolled students in need of financial assistance. 

Michigan Achievement Scholarship

Beginning with the class of 2023, high school graduates will be eligible for up to $2,750 per year at Montcalm Community College through the Michigan Achievement Scholarship Program.

 

Eligibility begins by completing your FAFSA at fafsa.gov or contact MCC’s Financial Aid Office at finaid@montcalm.edu for FAFSA completion assistance.
