Heritage Village
Established in 1987, Montcalm Heritage Village has grown to include 28 buildings on Montcalm Community College’s Sidney campus, and it features hundreds of artifacts from local areas depicting life in Michigan in turn the turn of the 20th Century.
The Annual Heritage Festival is held on Montcalm Community College’s Sidney campus. During the three-day event, self-guided tours are available of all Heritage Village buildings with docents to provide information and answer questions. In addition, special features include reenactments, historic displays, craft demonstrations, vendors, music, children’s activities, Vintage Base Ball and other offerings.

Buy A Brick! Program
The Montcalm Heritage Village Committee invites you to be a part of the village church buy buying a brick for the church walkway in memory of a loved one or friend.
Community members can purchase 4" x 8" bricks, with three lines of up to 14 characters each for $100 and 8" x 8" bricks, with six lines of up to 14 characters each, for $200. Proceeds from the brick sales will help fund the maintenance of the church and the other buildings in Heritage Villages. The bricks are of high quality and the engraving is deep and epoxy-filled to prevent water and ice damage. They should last several generations.
Donors can send their checks (made payable to Montcalm Heritage Village) and information to be engraved to: Heritage Village, c/o Montcalm Community College, 2800 College Drive, Sidney, MI 48885-9723. Other donations for the church are also welcome.
