Academic counseling and advising helps you navigate Montcalm Community College and your degree program. Academic counseling and advising is available in the Student Services Center, located in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library building on the college’s Sidney campus. Counseling is available by appointment on Mondays in the Bill Braman Family Center for Education Building on the college's Greenville campus.

Walk-in Advising Sessions
Advising sessions are every Wednesday during the semester from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Students can call-in or walk-in to the Student Services Center. For a phone or Teams appointment, please call 989-328-1264 to have your name added to the queue. An advisor or counselor will return your call in the order it is received. For an in-person session, stop by the Student Success Center in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on MCC’s Sidney campus. All sessions are meant to be brief about coursework.
Call-in Advising Sessions
Academic counseling/advising appointments via Microsoft Teams and by phone are available for counseling and advising. All appointments must be scheduled by contacting MCC’s Student Success Center at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (989) 328-1264.For best assistance, please remain near a computer. Microsoft Teams can be accessed through login.montcalm.edu and may enhance the advising session. For in-person assistance, please check in at the Student Services Center in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on MCC’s Sidney campus. The queue order will be followed, regardless of location. There may be extensive wait times.
